I spoke with Danielle who was friendly, informative, listened to my concerns and recommended a fantastic lash tech named Asia based on my needs. A few months ago, I agreed to be the model for a stylist named April at the Mission Valley location here in San Diego. I was her first actual person to work on I was pressed for time. She did the best she could and had a great attitude. A few months later we reunited to do my fill and it was quite special for the both of us to see how much she’s grown. Mina is the best ever!! She should be considered MASTER!! I use to do my own lashes and others. I am 60yrs old and my eye sight is no longer good. After there was one who did what I wanted but she moved away. After I had LOTS of bad experience one after another. I don't understand..how difficult is it to get what I want. It's just a classic. They either to bulky or they add 3D because they are to lazy and want to get the job done quick so they skip lashes then I pay what I didn't want. I have a set of full lashes they are semi thick but short. Finally Mina comes along and gives me what I want. A complete set. She did every single lash and not clumpy I love them and once more they last. I asked her to dip and slide then apply so they last and not fall off. And she did no questions asked. Because she applied every single lash with out 3D and how I wanted them I tipped her generously to show my gratitude. She is hard to get because she works hrs that conflict with mine. But she is worth it. And best customer service EVER!! SHE IS VERY VERY PATIENT!! very detailed. I would recommend her to every one. A note to all. If you request for her make sure you know what you want and good communication and confirmation is key. Because if you don't..it's your fault for not getting it right. My first time meeting her. Who I wanted was Navira, a master. But I found out Navira trained Mina but she wasn't there that day and I needed my lashes immediately and amazing lash recommended her prodigy who was highly well trained by Navia her self. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🌹🌾🥀🌼🌷

Unhappy with inconsistency

I book my appointments with Sarrah with2 r's, since the first mix up of getting Sarah with 1r, I'm very clear when booking. My last appointment I show up to a new stylist not Sarrah. I have no issues with the lady she did a great job. I just don't like the being past around. Reason why is they have different techniques. Also the upcharge inconsistency, only once did I do volume well 6d lashes, but I'm being charged the extra money for something I'm not getting. I went ahead paid and canceled my membership. The lady at front desk didn't seem to care or to resolve my issue. So I will go elsewhere for my lashes. Sorry I don't remember names of front desk person

I had high expectations for this place. After a horrible experience elsewhere, I was hoping AMAZING Lash would be better. Although my stylist was nice, my appointment was almost 3 hours. I could tell during the process that something was off. I wasn't able to fully open my eyes as the glue was still not dry and sticking to my bottom lashes. Once I was able to open my eyes, and tweezing of the remaining glue was off, my eyes were blood shot red, watering and part of the eyelashes had already begun to come off! I had lashes coming off and stuck to my bottom lashes. After an additional attempt on trying to remove the fallen lashes, I kindly just told the stylist it was fine. I ended up taking the fallen lashes off myself. I left highly unsatisfied and still ended up paying as I just was irritated and wanted to leave. On top of my experience, My daughter sat and waited for me for 3 hours, and had asked to use the restroom. Unfortunately one of your receptionist told her it was only for customers. My daughter then went to the IHOP next door to use the facilities. Once I heard this I was more infuriated. We were paying customers! I find it ridiculous on the lack of customer service that AMAZING Lash provided. My stylist did apologize and I appreciate that, however it doesn't make my experience any less enjoyable.

I’ve been doing my lashes for over a year. Lesson learned when they call me to tell me my stylist is out sick just wait for her to come back don’t go with a replacement. This was the first time I had to go back because of pain I was having. After two days of my eye watering & the lashes falling out I had to go back and have Iana redo one of my eyes. From what she told me I guess a couple of my lashes were glued together going the wrong direction and it was pulling . I didn’t notice it in the shop because when I was allowed to open my eyes, that Eye was glued shut and required some help opening From the stylist . So now my left eye looks great and full with lashes but my Right eye the one that was re-done doesn’t have nearly as many lashes and looks tiny compared. So I’m not happy after spending an additional $82 (With tip).

Lashes are always done well. I just wish it was faster. After 2 hours, the gal (who was very sweet and very professional) said we have 30 more minutes. I couldn't take 2 1/2 hours out of my work day, so I had to stop her before she was done. So I was there 2 hours, but left feeling like I didn't even get all the lashes I was supposed to. I understand there is a gal that is faster for more money, so I booked her for next time. Great staff, convenient location, great prices. I'm a big fan. Just hope to speed it up a bit so I can come more! Thank you!

My lash tech was good but A.L. increased the price for a master lash stylist. A MASTER LASH TECH"???? It should be their standard as it is their business! They only have one business and they should all be good cause it's the business and that's why we go to them. I have always tipped my stylist 20.00 for her time. Now, I'll tip her 10.00 and pay the company for her " master stylist" fee. I'm sure she doesn't see much of the extra 10.00 dollars. It's corporate greed. The workers suffer. They can't seem to keep the front desk employees for more than a few months. Many of the receptionist don't know the information, are too new and shy to ask or have no answers at all and will convey the information to the owners. Buyers beware!

I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED by my appointment at Amazing Lash Mission Valley today. I was NOT asked to come in early to do paperwork- which, in my opinion should/could of been faxed or EVEN mailed! I then was called in to my appointment by Marisol, who immediately asked me WHY I WAS LATE! She stated that she could probably get me done “in our time left”. She quickly started. The room was colder than the Del Mar site. I dozed off for a few minutes when Marisol’s phone went off! She then kept texting while PRETENDING to work on me. I guess when my time was up, she handed me the fan (something Melissa from Del Mar had NEVER done in a year) and a mirror. When I pointed out that I had a “hole”, she quickly filled it in. It was not very satisfying and I will try to get a mini refill at another Amazing Lash. I WILL NOT EVER step foot into the Amazing Lash Mission Valley AGAIN!

I have been getting my lashes done for several years prior to coming to the studio 2-3 years ago for the convenience and value. I started with fills every month. However, the frequency has been increasing since the lashes do not stay on. By the 2nd day, I am noticing gaps and by week 1,5 a huge number has been lost. Over the years, the glue formulation has been changed. My eyes are irritated after eash fill which never occurred during my earlier visits. I will be cancelling my membership if the quality and longevity does not improve.

Giving a 5 star because this has never happened and I always have a great experience but I was one of the last clients of the day this saturday and my stylist was interupted not once but twice to be rushed along so that they can leave. Not only was that frustrating that my stylist was to be rushed through my paying services but the front desk girl counted her drawer so loudly. Half of my appt all i heard was coins being dropped back into the drawer. Not exactly sure why the door that separates the back and front wasn’t closed but it should have been. My experience here is always a good one, maybe because I usually come in the morning but it was very aggravating and rude that my stylist was rushed through my services and that my appt was not relaxing at all. My stylist, Rene, was amazing and did a fantastic job as always but i didnt appreciate her coworkers. She finished before closing so idk why my appt had to be interrupted on more than one occasion to hurry her along. Very unprofessional of whoever it was.

Iana is great! She's so meticulous. She styles my lashes exactly how I want them. I'm a bit confused about the cost of a fill of volume lashes though. I've always been charged $25. Last night when checking out with Sophia, she was very confused about literally everything. She thought I was a different customer. I'm concerned that my next appointment is not scheduled under my name and account. I will call to confirm that today. Also, she could not find my refills. Then when she was charging me for my volume lashes, she said it was $35. I've never paid $35, I've always paid $25 and I've explained that to her. She said she could see that in my account history, but still ended up charging me $30. I just don't understand where she got $35 from then can see I have paid $25, but then be able to charge me $30. It felt very fishy and disappointing.

The technician was really nice and I really enjoyed talking to her but I don’t really like how to full my lashes look and I told her that I wanted more of a natural look and I did let them know that I wanted a 30 minute refill and they ended up charging me a one hour refill so I didn’t feel like it was fair after telling them that it was only 30 minutes and paying 65 dollars instead of 39 for my refill... so I’m not happy.

Hello! I have been coming to Mission Valley for a couple of months maybe longer. It has been a trial period to find the right lashes for me. I have upper eyeliner and with that it is difficult to see my lashes at times. My gal is doing the very best she can I believe but we still don't have it quite right. It appears that my left eye is much fuller than my right. I noticed that the last time I came in for a fill and thought that it would be corrected yesterday. But the same result. Left eye is fuller. I think I need to come in for a correction again before my next fill. Is it possible to have longer lashes or hybrids to get that fuller look and to be able to see my lashes much better? Anthony is very aware of my experiences with lashes and he has been nothing but wonderful trying to get it right. My next appointment is the 11th but I would like to come in for a correction before the 11th. I tried to make an appt sooner like a week with my gal but she was fully booked according to the receptionist there. If you can please get me in for a correction and possibly with Sara the trainer that would be great. I just want to try the trainer once and get the lashes exactly right and then I would love to stay with my gal because she is really trying to make me happy!

When I first got up to take A look @ my lashes everything seemed to be fine. When I left the lash Studio, Well driving I looked in my mirror noticed my left lashes are longer then my right side. Hello! I filled out a review and no one has replied to me. I have been coming to your studio for awhile now. The first two times I was very happy and the last fill my gal recommended that I do a volume appointment. I was thinking that volume means more lashes but it didn't meant that at all. My lashes were very light and you could barely see them. I was very happy with the last fill and my lashes were more full. I paid $25 $20 for the volume appointment and $5 for the tip. I would like you to please refer me to a different stylist. Do you have a trainer there that could work with me? I just want to be happy with my lashes and the last appointment I am not pleased. I am due for a fill and I will be required to pay for the next visit even though I am on membership. I love that it’s not super hard to get an appointment. The girls are knowledgeable and nice. I’m happy theirs options to try new looks and lash styles but no one pushes you to purchase or do anything you aren’t comfortable with. Keep up the great work at mission valley location!

Lash Fill

I paid $20 last evening for a volume appointment. I thought volume meant more volume in your lashes. My lashes look lighter than before and I am not liking them as much as I did the last time I came for a fill. I am scheduled for two weeks and on that apt I will be charged $70. I would like to know if I can go back to the regular fill that I had last time and not be charged because I feel that I paid $20 and didn't get the lashes I wanted. Keva is my stylist and she is trying so hard to get my lashes just right but I don't like to pay extra if I am not happy with the lashes. They are lighter and definitely not more volume. Can someone please discuss this with me so that I am happy?

This was my first time getting lashes and Nadia did a great job walking me through the process and answering all my questions. She suggested a smaller lash size and I was hesitant but they look amazing and fit my face perfectly. They look natural but still eye popping. I got my lashes done last Tuesday night and after a week and two days majority of the lashes have already fallen off. When I brush them they almost get ripped out because there are 4 Lashes glued on one natural lash! Not ok because that’s how natural lashes get ruined. After looking closely the Lash extensions aren’t even glued at the base of the natural lash and they almost look tangled. Very unhappy especially after paying $90 ($105 with tip) for a fill and then not even lasting a week.

Danielle always does an amazing job. When I went in for my appointment the receptionist told me there was not adequate time for my service so I would Be paying the full amount but not have the full time. She did offer another stylist but I waited 5 weeks already for Danielle. She asked if I added time when booking online. Hum...as a client I put in the service I wanted , on the day and time with the person I wanted to go to, timing is the responsibility of the business not client unless it is stated by company or stylist. Three out of 4 appointments have been incorrectly booked. Everyone is super nice but there seems to be a disconnect when Booking by phone or online.

I’m new in town and I had a tough time finding a place that had the type of lashes I like (thicker/fuller lashes, not natural looking lashes like some places offer). I saw someone at a mall and loved her lashes, so I asked where she got them and she told me Amazing Lash Studio. I booked an appointment and LOVED my first set of lashes so much I signed up for the monthly program. It’s too bad the girl who first did my lashes isn’t with the company anymore. Since my first experience, my other experiences have been okay—retention has been poor and the lashes don’t stand out like they did with my first experience. I’ll keep coming back because I signed up for the program; but, had I known I wouldn’t LOVE my lashes now like I did with my first set I would probably find another studio. My first experience definitely reeled me into the monthly program though!

When I first cancelled my membership with Lash it was because the 2 technicians that apply the lashes would make the glue visible. So I cancelled and had 2 credits towards my account. I then called a week and a half prior to my visit to schedule (get dramatic volume lashes, which I mentioned) and use my 2 credits. When I get there the young lady at the front desk greets me, nice at first, and then I let her know that my appointment was for dramatic/volume lashes and she replied, "no, the technician does not have time for that, and you didn't schedule for that." Ummmm no. That's what I called for... anyways I got my lashes. 3D, volume, dramatic and awesome because of Renee. Renee not only changed my frustration with the young dude girl at the front desk but made these lashes pop and no glue can be seen!!! She is just amazing! As per Lash Studio, there is NO WHERE ON THE CONTRACT NOR POLICY where it states that I cannot combine my 2 credits for my visit and NOR Does it states that I CANNOT use my 2 credits for volume lashes because its "EXTRA". If I paid ( 2 credits) then I should be able to use MY money as I wish and choose what i would like done and maybe pay the difference. But no, that was not the case... DISAPPOINTED!!!!! I will DEFINITELY NOT come back to this place.

I made the mistake of getting my first set of eyelash extensions at a lash bar downtown. I knew from the moment the lash technician glued the first lash on that something was wrong. Just the application felt like hot lava was being poured onto my eyelids. I woke up the next morning with swollen, itchy, and painfully red eyes. Most places were closed, so I decided to call Amazing Lash and they got me an appointment for that very day. The establishment is clean, aesthetically pleasing, smells wonderful, and the women who work there are absolutely amazing! They were so understanding and kind and took very good care of me considering how embarrassed and upset I was. Now that I’ve written a novel, I can not recommend this place enough. I had a wonderful experience and I know anyone that books an appointment here will too!

I went for a fill but this time I didn't go with my regular 2 artists because they were booked the girl who did my lashes was real informative and sounded like she new what she was doing but a the say progressed the lashes were going down instead of up and going every which way. So I called and went back so they could fix them and I thought they were better but then they kept falling off so no they are pretty bare on one eye and its only been 5 days.

Adhesive not that strong

The service is amazing but the adhesive isn't that strong. You might have to go to a couple of different techs to get the look you want. Some of them are more knowledgeable than others but the staff makes sure to get you to the right one.

Jamie did my lashes as a promotional offer and they were phenomenal--ended up lasting a full 3 almost 4 weeks. She let me listen to my headphones and was super attentive during the whole process. Only downside is that the cost is so expensive as a non-member I would never come here. $250 is excessive, in my personal opinion.

I started going to ALS in July of last year.  I didn't have the best experience with my first full set and wanted to cancel the membership that I had just purchased.  Nicole changed that!  I had my first fill with Nicole (with the intent of cancelling after) and she completely changed my opinion!  She does amazing work and is so friendly.  She really wants to make your lashes last as long as possible and sometimes I can go 4 weeks without needing a fill.  ALS is very reasonable compared to other lash places.  I definitely recommend ALS and especially Nicole!!

Experience: My experience was nothing short of amazing! The young lady who helped me seemed like the expert at this location. We spent a lot of time pinpointing the exact look I was going for and she was able to gracefully achieve it. And, Not once did I feel rushed or “annoying” for spending as much time as we did “mapping out” my lashes. The representative took care of me to the fullest extent and made sure I had nothing short of a wonderful experience. I ended up setting up the membership and hope to work with the same girl again. 4/5 stars the only reason I’m giving you guys 4 stars is because even after following all the aftercare instructions and purchasing your branded products to help my lashes fulfill the 2 weeks roll my next appointment; many of lashes have fell out. Especially in the middle and it looks low key ratchet. I’m hopping to give you guys a couple more tried before giving up ONLY because of the amazing experience I had with the lash technician however I’m not too happy about the fall out Nonetheless, 5 stars for the tech and her work but 3-4 stars for the adhesive that was used.Side note: my main reason for trying this company out is because a coworker of mine has beautiful lashes and religiously goes to another one of your locations. She’s has been able to recruit 5 other coworker to also do business with you guys. It’d be nice if you offered some type of corporate discount or referral program...
