Brittany has been my gurl for over a year now I’m pretty sure, when Angelina (my old eyelash girly wirly quit, I never thought I’d find anyone nearly half as good. Turns out, sometimes they’re right when they say when one door closes, another opens. Luckily in my case, this door that opened for me (Brittany’s) was perfect *chefs kiss* — I went to everyone it felt like before finding Brittany and nobody did everything by the book, the cleaning of your lashes, the preparation, she doesn’t use that effing tape everyone else does that makes you feel like 10000 years old with eyelids so droopy, they just have to use it… she’s thorough, and she does it for the “wow” factor she told me. She literally does this job just to see the look of you logging yourself when you look in the mirror after wards. I wish these reviews could include pictures, so I could show you instead of trying to explain. I’ve been to the master stylists, none of them can even hold a match to Brittany’s flame (sorry shira, you still rock) not only does she do this job bc she wants to help you love yourself but she also is the only person that gets my eyelashes to stay on for over a month- I run my eyes a lot and if I have anyone else do them, my lashes are gone in a little over a week. Not with Brittany. If she ever quit, I’d 100% cancel my membership with amazing eyelash studio. I come for one reason and one stylist only, Brittany. Request ya girl Brittany, you won’t be sorry. But only if you’re cool I don’t want to be the reason she has to deal with any jerks. Let her do her thing, you won’t regret

I have been to 3 other Amazing Lash Studios. I love my appointments with Jocelyn, she is very nice and works quickly. The location is so convenient to where I live but the location at Hancock always seems dirty. The restroom and storefront both could use a good cleaning. The credit card machine gives everyone issues. The receptionist always uses the speakerphone and it’s very unprofessional and extremely loud -even when I am in the back getting my lashes done I can hear every word the caller is saying.

I loved my lash work with Jocelyn - no complaints regarding her services! My only request would be to offer L or LD curled lashes. As an Asian with monolids, even the D curl doesn't show up on my eyes. Based on a ton of research, I would need the L or LD curl. Would you ever considering ordering lashes in this style? It would be a great way to work towards inclusivity as Asian's have very different eye shapes than most others! I would hands down spend way too much money here if you offered L or LD curls.

When I entered into the salon she was getting yelled at by a blonde. “Karen” about her sister’s account and reward points. Highly recommend booking with Lucila. She took extra time to make sure I was comfortable, as I have been known to be allergic to something in the false eyelash world. Not only did I not have any reaction/irritation but I think I might not be allergic to the glue, as I once thought and it's the eye pads. Next time I go, as I'm a member now thanks to Lucy, I am going to use the normal glue, as I feel the sensitive glue doesn't work in compariso to the normal stuff. I don't know what Lucy did during my visit, but I had the BEST experience.

My technician was as absolute pro. I would suggest that they put a little more effort into cleaning the premises. While getting started I had a great view of moldy/dirty vents on fhe ceiling. The bathroom was a little dicey as well. It is a disservice to the professionalism of the technicians that work there. All in all I would give it a good rating!

I saw McKenna for my full-set after a long lash haitus. I'm very pleased with the time she took and her attention to detail. Angelina is just the best, she's knowledgeable, professional, most kind, and just an overall adorable lil gem! Best stylist I've ever had, hands down. HOWEVER, the platform which I schedule my appointments through (the website, using chrome browser) would articulate an unwanted request of hybrid (I think that's what they're called? Idk which I ended up getting actually, I think they were called hybrid. Anyways, they are basically fancy lashes for an extra $25, which I hadn't meant to ever request. Through the chrome browser, it asks a service, which I'd select Lash Refill, then for an add on, I'd choose none. I never thought to suspect this process, I mean, why would you get charged for nothing selected, right? Well, when I downloaded the app to further investigate, when selecting the drop down menu, instead of the normal 4 options I received, I now had a selection of 10 options, and a add on was required to move forward. SO, if you book through the chrome mobile browser, stop, and download the app.

I’m always hesitant to share my secrets on reviews because i don’t want you guys ruining it for me by taking up all her time slots and making it difficult for me to see her. But let’s be honest, I would wait in a line overnight to get my lashes done by Angelina. If there were a Nobel Lash Prize, Angelina would win hands down. She’s just perfect. Plus I only have to get my eyelashes done every 3 weeks cuz she has magic glue, I swear. Before Angelina entered my eyelash life, I was going every week, week and a half. It sucked. Horrendous experience. The appointment took 2.5 hours for a full set. The stylist would place a lash, painfully rip it off, place it again and repeat. She pushed the extensions so hard into my eyelid that the tape/pad on the bottom lashes would cut into my eye all while stabbing my top eyelid. At one point she dropped an instrument on my forehead, causing me to bleed to the point that the room smelled like old pennies. Also, the stylist was playing her own music on top of the salon music so I had to listen to two songs constantly clashing. Not relaxing. When she finally finished, I woke up to a bleeding forehead, scratched/bloodshot eyes, and a completely different look than the one we had discussed. When I asked why she didn’t do the style I had requested, she told me it was my fault because my lashes were too short and stubby, I must have damage from having extensions on before (I haven’t had extensions since December 11th). I left in tears and will be ending my membership.

I naturally have very short (Non-existent) eyelashes. I had always been really skeptical about getting extension but about a week ago i decided to go for it. Walking in to the studio i could tell they are very professional and a very well kept area. Talking to my tech Myriam i found out they do sterilize all instruments which is a huge YASSS for me. I obviously want anything that is going to be that close to my eyes to be clean! Going to review my experience honestly i feel like my confidence has gone out the roof. I love my eyes but not my natural lashes and with the extensions i got, i feel like a new woman. I can walk out the door with minimal make-up and still feel beautiful. Amazing Lash Studio always came off as the wal*mart of lashes to me, the type of lash place you go to when you're looking for a quick fix, not the real deal. I WAS 100% wrong! this place rules! and what's even better is that you're not charged by how experienced your lasher is- and as a member I get two lash refills a month for only $109 and if I ever need a touch up here and there, it's like $35- bada bing bada boom! finally, a rate I can keep up with! the front desk staff is always so flippin' sweet and accommodating, they make you feel right at home. when you're getting your lashes done, you'll be in your own private room which is nice, I didn't expect it to be so dang spacious and ginormous in there tbh. they offer you blankets, pillows, there is usually (I want to say almost always) some sort of soothing music playing in the background. best part, they all understand somehow just the right smidge of conversation. None of them have ever annoyed me(haha), you can tell they're actually focusing (I went to a couple diff places in the past where the stylist asks you a zillion small talk questions and you're hoping by declaring a newbound headache maybe they'll get the hint but if not then you gotta deal cuz that yapper could glue yo eyes shut, I was even offered a peice of gum once during one of these experiences) like, what? ANYWAYS, I've had a different girly wirly each time I've been here, I've gone maybe around 6 times now? maybe more? I've never had a bad experience, not even a tad of a bad experience- and I know for a fact one or two of those girls were brand spankin new (okay maybe not for a fact but P SURE) (see, that's how good they all always are, you can't even tell!) I've also discovered that I'm more keen to the basic lashes- I would always get the 3D or 6D my first few times and they seemed to shed quicklier and they were soooOOoOo long, too long- for me at least- so if anyone out there is feeling like maybe Amazing Lash Studio isn't for you, maybe you just haven't found your type of lashes yet- shit you could make out like me and end up saving $20 a pop! book yo appointment biyotches this place is dope! ;D

First off, this was not a relaxing session by any means. I felt like I was laying in a doctor's bed. It was cold. The bed is not covered with any sheets or blankets. Instead you get to lay on just paper. The sylist Denise did not do anything to make me feel comfortable. She did not offer the blanket to me. It was very noisy. You can hear every conversation in the other rooms and in the lobby. Other staff spoke very loudly. There also was no place to hang my coat or bag. Amazing lash studio needs to really work on their hospitality and giving a relaxing experience. Every other lash studio I've been to has made me feel like I was at a spa. My stylist lacked experience and was very messy with her work. First off, she got glue in my eye multiple times. Which, caused my eyes to get watery multiple times. When removing the tape from under my eyes it was clear that she had gotten adhesive on my lower lashes because it hurt when she was removing them. Not only that but when opening my eyes my bottom lashes were stuck to my lash extensions. How does this happen? Inexperience. It would be nice if stylist showed customers pictures of different lash styles. I got the introductory classic set with an add on. My add on was the 3D. I also got them in the style glamorous. I explained I wanted them to be full and have volume but not too long. I felt like the lashes were way over priced for what I got. While they look okay they're not great. They do not look full and some areas look bald. They have a natural look, which is suitable for someone looking for an everyday look. Its just not what I had in mind. I will not be coming back here. There are better lash stylist and studios elsewhere. The stylist also had to go back and add some lashes after taking off the eye pads because some lashes were missing. Denise is not talkative and does not offer exceptional service. She was not rude but appeared to not enjoy what she was doing. She also did not explain to me how to take care of my lashes. Once the session was done she escorted me out without any good bye greeting. Pay your stylist more and maybe they would want to be there. Also, you should offer them more training. This was by far the worst lash experience i've had. I will not go back. Avoid Denise and avoid this location. Be specific in what you want and show them pictures. Honestly, just go somewhere else and pay the extra $30.

I am so sorry but I have not been satisfied with the 3 different lash technicians that I’ve been given. My first tech was the worst I have ever had she put everything I told her I didn’t want lashes fell off within a week and I was charged to much. 2nd technician I had to book a full set time and I had to pay $30 for the removal of the lashes that was left which took 30 minutes of my full set time. Denise did do somewhat of a good job, but I wanted a lot more fuller and yes my bill was outrageous. But lashes did fall off on one eye then the other 3 days before appointment. When I was coming in for my refill i get a call 12 minutes prior to my appointment that Denise called in sick and they are having someone fill in for Denise. The tech I was given dwelled on the clumping of the lashes in the corners of my eye that it literally didn’t look like she did any fill at all leaving a gap in the eye that lost more lashes and so I’ve had to use mascara to try to cover that gap. Every visit that I have had to spend over hundred of dollars. I have been coming to amazing lashes for a while and have never ever had to spend so much money. So either I need to go elsewhere or just give my 30 day notice. I am so so disappointed in the Hancock location. Please respond to my review my next appointment is 12-7-19 with Denise at 9 and I am thinking I need to book a full set in hopes I can get a fuller set of lashes. Thank you Leigh Raemsch

This was my first time trying a new location, after being a member for a few months. I’m pretty disappointed with how much trouble it was, just to use my credit at another location, AND after communicating this through phone multiple times. As the customer, I feel like i’m paying a nice amount, so the least the on-shift employees could do was make a phone call for me. I have always gotten my lashes with 6D, and this time.. they looked “natural”, at most. I got them FULL filled yesterday, and by the end of tonight’s event (that I specifically got them for) I had at least 5-8 of lashes fall off? A strip lash has more lashes than mine. So why pay the extra $25 AND the membership charge? The customer service was good, just the service itself and the process was pretty frustrating. Was the juice worth the squeeze? We’ll see in 3 weeks.

2nd Time Not as Great as the First!

I LOVED my lashes the first time I got them, and this was my refill. Unfortunately my first stylist did not record what we did / size / type so my second person wasn't sure how to replicate the lovely lashes I had originally gotten. I also was a little put off by my stylist playing music in her headphones while she worked on me. I know she needed to concentrate but I could still hear the music while I was laying on the table. Her craftswomanship wasn't quite as good as the first person I had because even today the next day, I've already had a couple come off unfortunately. I'll still go back, but will try to get my original girl again.

This was the worst full set I’ve gotten so far. I have never experienced burning or pulling before. I have been to 2 other locations and have never had a painful experience. My eyes burned most of the time. I think she used way too much glue and then I could barely open my eyes after. Again, I have had full sets and refills before and they have never felt like that. I did the 3D lashes as well and was not very happy with the look. I could not even tell I had extensions, so I would not pay extra for the 3D lashes again.

Today I went in and I don’t remember the girls name but I had pretty bad service. I am not satisfied with the way my lashes came out. There are gaps between my lashes from already the ones that have fallen out today. The girl had told me that she was going to rush because the hour was almost up so that makes sense why they came out the way they did. Will not be returning to that location, I will just just stick to my home studio instead.

I have sensitive eyes, they turn bloodshot red the next day if the eyelash specialist isn’t extra careful. I always tell the specialist when I first see them that my eyes are sensitive. Some try to help, but most of them fail in preventing the glue from getting into my eyes. I hope this is a problem they can address and properly learn how to avoid.

Lash Removal

Technician was really nice and professional! Unfortunately, she thought I had an infection on my eyelid (I didn't), and recommended we remove my lashes. After she started, she realized it was not an infection, but had already begun removing. She mentioned we could do a full set and start over this weekend, but I don't think I can justify the expense of a removal and a full set when I had gone in just for my typical refill and there were no issues on my end. Because of this, will probably not go back, at least for a while, and no longer have my lashes. :( Every visit I've had has had great technicians, and this one was no different! She thought she was doing the best for me. However, the predatory subscription model pricing makes me hesitant to return in the future. A service should speak for itself and have customers returning for more rather than try to trap customers through sneaky pricing techniques.

Had a decently positive experience the past year of being a member, however, my last refill gave me such a bad eye infection that I had to see a healthcare professional about it. I'm not so sure I feel comfortable with coming here anymore due to this incident. I really feel that received bad and unfair service when i went to my last visit. I got a member full set and never wanted any add ons. I made sure to tell the stylist i didnt want anything extra. When i checked out i asked to use my credits on my account. I had 2. Then the receptionist said it would be an ADDITIONAL $45 on TOP of my 2 credits. Thats over $145 for a regular full set! And the worst part is its been less than a week and more than half of my eyelashes came off because they were poorly put on. Terrible service

First of all the person who I had booked with was not the person I got. The whole experience of getting my eye lashes refilled was awful. Pretty sure the person that did my lashes smoked because I could smell cigarettes in her hands and she was shaking. She was all over my face and it was very uncomfortable, after she had finished one eye was more full than the other... through our the day a lot of the eyelashes fell out. On my pillow alone there were so many of them and it was very uncomfortable sleeping.

I've been to Amazing Lash approximately 3 times the first time I didn't know what to expect but the technician was very accommodating, she offered me a knee pillow and also a blanket and for some reason I thought that was standard....the second time, I went of course I got a different person and she did not offer anything of comfort and of course it was freezing in the building...:( I was soo uncomfortable! uuuggh!! My third visit was a little better, I asked for a blanket! I think it should be standard that a knee pillow and blanket are offered. I also feel like maybe Kleenex or some softer tissue should be offered to clean off the eyelash instead of the ridiculously HARD Brownpaper towels in the restroom!!

Amazing Lash lives up to their name! Marshae was my technician and she delivered professional and confident service! After we completed my service, in which I had a new install of the gorgeous lashes, I noticed some of the inner lashes seemed a bit off. She took her time and attempted to fix, but when she wasn’t satisfied with the small correction she went and got a Senior who was willing and took her time and helped me and my technician achieve the “Amazing Lashes” I was looking for! The location has great customer service. Ladies at the front greet the customer as soon as we walk in and ask if we want to wash the lashes before seeing the stylist. It's become a common thing where their scheduling coordination isn't great. They call and call until they can get an appointment confirmed--only to try to reschedule you the day off. They usually try to accommodate but the calls back and forth can be avoided and would save us both time and efforts. I'm almost always satisfied with the work the stylist do. This last time I went for a fill was a bit different. The lash was glued to my lash but it was so far down part of it is on top of my eyelid making the lashes look unnatural. I wasn't happy and unfortunately did not have time to have that fixed. The stylist said that was normal...it was a first for me. I hope next time I go in this doesn't happen.

Hello, usually, I'm always impressed by the service at ALS. I had an appt for Saturday, August 8th at 9:30am for a full set. I received a call from the front desk at 9:00am the day of my appt. She stated the tech called out sick in which, I understood so rescheduled for a 12:30 appt instead. When I got there, I checked in as normal, followed by being sent to the back room. The tech mentioned, "You're here for a fill, correct." I replied, "no, full set." She then told me sorry, "I only have time for a fill," then communicated this to the front desk. The front desk lady came and told me someone could fix my lashes after. At that point, the tech and I agreed to do a fill and make it work. Nonetheless, love my lashes but not impressed with the service. Thank you!

Expontential Improvement Over Last Refill

Jordan did a great job today! When I had any concerns, she made me feel like those concerns were valid and what was causing problems with my lashes. At the end, I felt like some in the inner corner were stuck together and she fixed it with no problem. Painless, unlike when I saw Kaitlin and when I have seen her in the past. Jordan even warned me that some might pull when she was removing grown out lashes, but I didn't feel a thing. Please give her my thanks and appreciation about a great refill experience!

I now know the importance of keeping the same stylist when getting services at this salon. I had to change my appointment time so, my original stylist wasn't available. I thought it would be fine to have another stylist and keep my appointment. However they gave me someone that was new. She was 40 minutes late and I didn't like the outcome of my lashes like I had the previous times. If I had been 40 minutes late and kept my original appointment; they would not have seen me, and still charged me! I really did not appreciate the service that I received yesterday.

After switching to this location for convenience, I have had various experiences. Some good, some bad. Two of my last three experiences weren't that great. For instance, I went in for a refill which took only 30 minutes when it usually takes between an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. My lashes were also very bare when I came in for this refill. Awesome (so I thought)! I soon discovered that one volume lash extension was glued to 3-4 of my real lashes -- no wonder it only took her 30 minutes. This caused a huge gap in several places along my lash line, as each lash grows at a different pace depending on its lash cycle. When one of the 3-4 lashes grew faster and/or longer than the other 2-3, it pulled the rest of the 2-3 lashes out of my lash line. After that refill, I tried a different stylist who only applied lash extensions to HALF of my lash line on the right side. Because I only got 3/4 of the lash extensions, I felt I should have only paid 3/4 of the refill price. On the brighter side, my most recent experience was amazing! Emily made my lashes look so full and beautiful. She really took her time, and even told me about the lighter/healthier lash extension they offer. From now on, Emily or the manager (Julia) will be the only stylists I go to at this location. Besides the issues I have had with a few of the stylists' work at this location, the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. When you check-in for your appointment, they give you the opportunity to cleanse your lashes one last time before your refill with their foam cleanser since you will not be able to get your lashes wet for 24-48 hours after application. None of the other locations I have visited in the past do this. Kudos! Just for frame of reference, I have been getting lash extensions for nearly 3 years.

Kaitlyn is the bomb.com, and there is always such friendly/helpful receptionists. I’ve been to two other locations and have always had issues. I’ve never once had any sort of inconvenience with this shop. I believe the managers name is Julia and she is so incredibly kind. I live down south but coming to this location is so worth it

Consultation is short but simple, my aesthetician immediately had a grasp of what I wanted and executed it beautifully. It took a total of 2 hours to complete, but come early for paperwork. My experience here at the Handcock location is ALWAYS fantastic! The shop is always clean and neat. The staff is always warm and welcoming. About six months ago I moved about an hours drive away from the shop. I tried finding another location close to my new house. I found two. Unfortunately, every time I called each of these locations to try and come in, they either never pick up the phone, are fully booked for the week or have never called me back after leaving messages to set something up. I considered closing my account all together. Today I finally had a day off and I gave them a call to just see if they could take me last minute. Not only could they but the young woman on the phone was so nice and respectful. Once i showed up there were about three ladies behind the counter and they y’all said hello to me. Just wow! My lash tech Jordan did a FANTASTIC JOB on my lashes! I left feeling like a million bucks! I won’t be canceling my account and just because they have always been good to me I will be making the hour drive to come see them.
