Today was my first appointment with Stephanie, and it was wonderful! I was a bit nervous about having a reaction to the materials used to put the lashes on and keep them In place. Stephanie was really thorough in answering my questions and alleviating any concerns I had. She was very precise while doing the initial tests, and it’s been over eight hours and there’s no sign of any reaction. I barely remember she put test lashes on me. They feel like my normal lashes and they look so great! I can’t wait until my appointment to get the full lashes and lift! Stephanie is so down-to-earth, she’s so upbeat, and really knows what she’s doing! I went in thinking I was going to do this one time for a special event, but I’m already thinking this could be something I do on a regular basis - time to look into a membership!

My first time at Amazing Lash Ashburn. I came in for extension removal and all that went well. The eyelash tech patiently removed my lash extensions which were extremely glued to my real lashes. What I wasn't happy about was the $8 extra charge for "eye wash." I expected to pay only the removal + tip. I wasn't told there was a fee for eye wash. I wouldn't mind paying it if I was informed of this prior to getting it done (as a courtesy - as that should be a choice offered to me). No one likes surprises from fees that come after the service is done.

Prior to going to Amazing Lash, I had never applied fake lashes before. My natural lashes have no appeal, even with mascara. I was extremely hesitant, as I did not want those ridiculous looking dramatic lashes. When I decided to really check it out, I discovered I didn’t have to look “ridiculous,” there was an option for a natural look. I decided to pay the extra fee for a “master stylist” just as I do at the hair salons. I ended up with a master who did a great job, but unfortunately she left. They tried very hard to find the notes from that master, unfortunately, they were not able to be located. I was extremely frustrated because I had to start from scratch with someone new, and explain all over again what style I liked. I was put with one master, who I was not very impressed by, and she is a smoker. Therefore, I had to breathe in that smell for an hour, because they are so close to your face. It was then suggested to me to go to another master, who I found out, wasn’t really a master at that time. I thought we hit it off on the first visit, but my lashes started to fall out and clump together. She blamed me, claiming I didn’t take care of them properly and I somehow singed them together! She mentioned not being able to blow dry my hair, cook, smoke cigarettes, or use the stove/oven. Frankly, her excuses were absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never had that problem before, I can’t cook to save my life, nor do I smoke. This current master stylist became frustrated with me, but instead of talking behind my back, she spoke to me and the manager directly, in what I found to be a very inappropriate and disrespectful way. I am the customer and should always feel comfortable. I was completely turned off, and quite upset by the confrontation. We decided I would never see her again either. As I was about to walk away altogether, I was paired with Leah, who, in my opinion is not only as good as my previous master, who left, her skills, work ethic, and her personality beyond exceeds those of the other two masters. I have never had a problem with her, my lashes stay on for at least a week longer than usual, she is very sweet, and has a great personality. She does phenomenal work, and typically in half the amount of time as the other stylists. I would recommend Leah over anyone! I apologize for my novel, but in conclusion, I cannot leave out the manager, Crystal. She’s always great to me, even when I show up late. Also, does anything she can if I’m unsatisfied for any reason, which I am not any longer. Crystal tried to sell me on a membership for almost a year, I continued to decline. Once I began to see Leah, and knew that I would be returning on a regular basis, I was officially sold on the membership . Thank you for everything, Crystal! Your customer service skills are beyond reproach. Both you and Leah have turned everything around for me.

Amazing Lash is top notch! My eyelash extensions looked FANTASTIC! Unfortunately, even though I was fine with a patch test, I ended up having an allergic reaction to them. This has nothing to do with Amazing Lash - my body is just super sensitive. Anyway, they got me in as soon as I called and immediately removed the lashes for free. They were so kind and accommodating. I'm sad I won't be able to get eyelash extensions again but would highly recommend this place to anyone that's able to do so. They are awesome!

Taje was friendly, skilled and accommodating. Charging over $300 for ONE eye (not including tip) for a past subscription client is beyond excessive. A full set doesn’t cost that much.

Amazing work but felt duped

First off, I love my lashes and thought that Jessica did a fantastic job. I did mention repeatedly that I only wanted the basic package several times to the receptionist checking me in and to Jessica before she began. I only found out after she was done that she did upgrade me to the 3D lashes. I even asked the receptionist if I could upgrade later on because I did not want to add anything for my first time getting lashes. When Jessica asked me if anyone reviewed the 3D or 6D packages and pricing I said “yes they did but I’m not ready for any of that.” So safe to say I’m a little disappointed in the service aspect of feeling a bait and switch. I’m still giving 4 stars based on the experience and end product though as Jessica did make me feel comfortable and I do love the end result. Chances are I would have upgraded anyway at a later time. I feel as though I need to warn others to be very clear of what you’re willing to pay for.

This was my 3rd visit with Amazing Lash Studio Ashburn and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I got to work with Master Stylist Keilie and she was absolutely worth it. She had me in and out of my re-fill appointment so quickly that I couldn’t believe it and my eyelashes look amazing!!!! On top of all of that I didn’t feel a thing. There was no tugging, punching or burning, it was completely seamless. I wasn’t sure if I’d keep going, but after this, there is no doubt. She is truly a master eyelash designer.

I want to start off by saying how impressed I was with the professionalism and work performed. My lashes are amazing!! However, they came at a steep price. I will say I was a bit surprised by the total due at the end given that I had signed up for a first time client promotional deal. I have no idea how I went from $89 to almost $300. I don’t know that it would have swayed my end decision given the occasion I had them done for but I did feel like a victim of bait and switch and did not like that at all. I don’t mind the upscale but I would like to know that whatever I am selecting is not a part of the deal. As for the actual lash part, My technician was for the most part amazing but given that this was a first time experience it was a bit unnerving to have my eyes taped shut and not have her explain what was happening next. In retrospect I should have spoke up to ask for the details. Overall pretty satisfied. That said,

I had my first appointment at Amazing Lash Studio in Ashburn, VA yesterday. The women at the front desk were super nice, friendly and knowledgeable. The studio is very clean, and extremely cute. My lash stylist Arezoo did an amazing job on my lashes. They came out exactly the way I wanted. Arezoo is really sweet, and very talented. I really love my new lashes. The membership is really cool too. Worth the drive from West Virginia. Thank you ladies, and see you again in two weeks.
