This was my first time having Mary as my lash stylist, she was super sweet and very easy to talk to. We discussed my lashes before the service and I have to say I'm so happy we did because she informed me that I wasn't receiving the lash style that I explained to her. I've always been beyond happy with my lashes every fill but it was nice to see she cared and was looking to give me exactly what I want. I went from cute to natural, which made my eyes look bigger opposed to rounder :) I've very OCD with my lashes so this made my day!

It took over two hours and then one eye had more lashes than the other. The girl at the reception desk told me she could have someone look at them; however, I had to get home it was after six pm. I made an appointment for Saturday morning, which I’m not sure I want to keep. Many of the lashes have come off and it is only one day after.

I’ve been coming to the Clifton Salon for just about 2 months now. I have been very happy with my tech, Kayla and the 3D lashes that she’s been using on me. The 3D,s look more natural than any lash extensions I’ve ever used in the past number of years that I’ve been getting extensions. I first tried the 6D, they are too dark and look to theatrical. Not something that I like for every day. On my recent fill-in I was informed that your salon will no longer carry the 3D lashes. I am very unhappy with this. Is this just at your salon? I will now have to check with other Amazing salons to see if everyone is the same, if not then I will have to take my business elsewhere. Customers prefer options, not everyone is the same in size or taste...

I’m a rookie in lash extensions. My very first visit was about 2 weeks ago and I fell in love with my hybrid lashes. I’m big on mascara and was getting tired of applying every morning. My lashes made a huge difference for me and brought out the GLOW in my face. I would recommend it!!

This was my 2nd time at lash studio, it was great experience with the person that work with me ( I don’t remember her name) she was very informative, given me tips on how to take care moving forward the eyelashes. For a reason that I can’t describe after a couple days the fullness of the eyelash become less, given a die look to the eyelashes. Don’t know why is that, for second time.

I am so happy that I found Rachel at the Clifton studio. She is a professional who has helped my look by providing me with a hybrid of lashes that look lush and natural. All of the staff is friendly and professional. I do wish that the lashes lasted a little longer or perhaps if the studio offered more lash enhancing serums for natural lashes to grow more on their own. I was so excited to get a fill in yesterday for my birthday; it was only my 3rd visit to the studio. My usual stylist wasn’t working on this day so I decided to put my lashes in someone else’s hands and what a mistake that was. Never met this stylist but she was not happy to do my lashes. I never speak during the appointment so as to let the stylist do their thing. Being certified in this service I know how important that is. The stylist slammed down her tools constantly, taped my lids back so hard my eyes dried out during the whole appointment, never used the final sealer, and then handed me her fan while she sat me up to dry my eyes out. Funny thing is my original lash stylist (Ricky) is super thorough and she never had to tape my eyes back so hard. This stylist made it a point to tell me she was a “master stylist” at the end like Ricky and then as I left she said “hopefully they last” ....super disappointed. My “cute” shape is gone and all she did was put straight lashes across even after discussing that I do the “cute” shape. If they start to shed moreso than usual due to her comment, I’ll make sure to follow up with this review and call the lash studio.

This was my first time getting lashes put in so I was not certain of what the process would entail. I found the staff to be so friendly and knowledgeable about lashes however my overall experience left me feeling underwhelmed. I checked in at 6:45p and left at 9:40; 20 minutes was used for consultation and the rest was me trying to lay flat for almost 3 hours not knowing exactly what was going on. I wish me and my lash specialist had a better rapport or that she would walk me thru the process as she was doing it as it took so long I needed the comfort and education; I wish I could be one of those people who could just sleep during this. I appreciate her tolerating my questions as I had a lot but I don’t know if I will return as this is an expensive procedure that I don’t know justified the outcome. My lashes are cute but the left eye does not appear seamless attached to my lid (I don’t know if that’s normal as again I never done this before). But again I must give credit to the fact everyone was so nice and my specialist was gentle while putting the lashes on.

I had a full in done 8/10 it looked amazing however within a week half fell out so I went for a refill and was told to “wait until next time” due to “baby lashes.” Mind you these so called baby lashes had extensions on them previously so I looked like an idiot with big gaps. And yes I went to a cheaper place for 15.00 to have them fixed. Well when I went for my fill in the tech was not happy with me and Made every excuse to make me get a new set. So for 89.00 I was given a horrible fill in and 2 days later went back because I looked stupid. Had that done now a week later half fell out and looking stupid once again! I’ve been going there for months and this has never happened before. I’m thinking about canceling my contract and going cheaper at least I get what I pay for.

Truly amazing. I got lashes put on at an unrelated spa where I live, and I HATED them. I tried giving it a few days to see if they grew on me, and they didn't and by this time I was on a trip to NJ, far from the original location. I couldn't even look at my face I hated them so much, and I couldn't wait to go home to remove them. I booked a removal with Amazing Lash and they took great care of me. While waiting, I got to hear some of the initial consultations with their clients and they took such great care in determining their needs and helping them choose the right look for them. When my specialist, Mary, was performing my removal, she provided me with advice on what would work best for me if I decided to try lashes again. The ones I had have length but not volume, and it was really volume I was looking for. She also looked at the websites and reviews for places in my area and recommended where I might go. I dont have Amazing Lash back home or else I'd use them in a heartbeat. The thing that stood out was their focus on finding the right look for their customers. I would feel completely comfortable trying lashes again if it was with them. The only thing stopping me is not having a location near me to do the fills.

I went on vacation two days after my first visit and installment of lashes (the natural) look. I experienced a lot of loss. When I returned from vacation (8 days later), I stopped into the studio and told them of my concern. They looked at my lashes and told me that they would take care of me and they did same day... different person did a fill but I really connected with her. I was surprised yet very pleased with the response and level of service. Thank you!

When I first arrived i noticed the efficiency of the movement of appointments which for me is a important. Then I was told I didn’t have an appointment which made me upset but the situation was quickly rectified. I was called back maybe 10 mins after my scheduled appointment. I was met by a very nice professional young lady. The service was great. After me lashes were done I wanted them a little fuller and I was accommodated with no problem. Overall I was pleased and will be returning.

Hello, I’ve been going to the Montclair location for years. This time I tried the Clifton one and it was not the same. I felt rushed for my refill. My appointment was at 11:30am. My refill began at 11:40am and I was back at the check out desk at 12:17pm. I paid the extra fee to have a Master stylist. I did not get the full of refill time and you can tell... super disappointed. I’m sharing this because I want this location to be as successful as the one in Montclair, even more because is the same ownership. Thank you

The lashes o requested turned out to be longer than I expected but perhaps I could have done more research on how to describe what look I was thinking of. I received the Hybrid lashes and I honestly feel like I wasted $119. They are barely noticeable and truly just look like my own lashes which is not the look I was going for. This was my first time ever having lashes and I wanted that extra look for my upcoming birthday. Sadly, while the service I received for my lash girl was good, it didn't come close to achieving the look I desired and I feel like my money could've been better spent elsewhere.

I’ve been a member before of amazing lash and went to the wykoff location in NJ. That is a great studio, experienced lash stylists and you aren’t being charged for every little thing. Now that I have been to Clifton a few times I’m not happy with the girl I went to as I was in some pain when she was doing the inner corners without even saying anything when my eyes were tearing and if I want to go to someone better I have to pay extra every time. I am just not very satisfied with the Clifton location so I may do the long drive to go back to Wykoff since they are much better.

Hi, so I got my lashes done here at Clifton for the first time due to no availability at my usual location. Love the girl who did my lashes and they looked gorgeous but it’s not haven’t been a week and my lashes are already half way gone. I look stupid and it’s uneven. It is embarrassing. I’m doing everything they are telling me to do to make it last and it is not worth my money. I spent over $170 dollars this month for a new set of eyelashes that didn’t even last me a week. I will be canceling my membership. It is ridiculous how much I spent on these for only them to last 5 days. Very disappointed

My first time visiting the Clifton location. I was scheduled with Tiffany. I chose the "Gorgeous" filling. Well, she never adjusted my knee pillow or my blanket, I had to ask. My lashes started clumping before I even left the studio. She blamed it on my natural lashes. There is no coverage on either the inner or outer corners of my eyes. I usually go to the Montclair location, however, Marta has a new schedule that conflicts with mine. I figured if I was going to have a stranger do my lashes, why not try somewhere closer and more convenient. I think I'll take my chances with Montclair...

Tiffany was awesome.. she was very patient with me .. even when I started to have a mini panic attack when I couldn’t open my eyes.. but I have to say the other employees made it a very tense experience.. every time I started to relax the loud noises and voices coming from the hallway kept startling me.. it was quite annoying.. even after Tiffany closed the door it was still an issue.. this was a mother’s day gift, from my daughter.. unfortunately the experience was tarnished, I felt that the other employees were extremely rude and added to my anxiety.

I called a Sunday morning after a lash disaster with my previous lash tech. I was leaving for vacation that night and could cry from how horrible my lashes were! At first there was no availability but after some adjustments they were able to squeeze me in literally five minutes after and I zoomed from Newark to Clifton. Needless to say they saved my lashes and were super-friendly and accommodating. I’ve never experienced such good customer service before.

The staff is very professional! Everyone was super friendly and answered all of my questions. I was a model for a girl who was just starting and the trainer was very thorough. She was coming in the room every couple of minutes and kept asking questions and kept making sure Tiffany was doing ok. She double checked her work at the end and I couldn’t be happier!! My lashes look and feel great!

A disaster

I was not given proper information by the technician regarding my lashes. I guess she realized half way through that she could not achieve what I wanted and left. The replacement technician had to finish. My eyelashes are noticeably different on both eyes. I brought that to the attention of the receptionist who took a charge off my bill. She knew my eyelashes looked horrible. I took photos of the results and plan on pursuing this further.

Had my first visit this past Sunday to help fix previous lashes from another salon. I must say, the staff were very friendly and professional. I had a nice conversation with my stylist who did a great job at refilling my lashes and explaining the process of transitioning to me. I have never been more satisfied with the way my eyelashes turn out. The ladies up front are such sweethearts , they make you feel welcomed. I get my lashes done with Mariah and she never dissapoints ! They answer any concers you have and explain everything thoroughly. They even call up to check on you to make sure everything is okay. I loved the place and staff. Was a little disappointed with my lashes. Some are all ready falling out. They don’t look very secure or neat. I’m use to much fuller lashes and all uniform. Also my eyes were very bloodshot an hour after appointment. I’m going to give amazing lash studio another chance with a more experienced technician and hopefully will be much happier and a long term client.

Hi! I was there yesterday at Clifton NJ location and since I got there I was help by a not so friendly Afro/American girl. This is my second time there because I did really liked the first time and also because I signed out for the package refill for 12 months. She accommodated me to have a full service just because the previous lashes all fall off and I tough I was going to have a full service again (been honest) even though I had to wait a little longer because the place got busy and she started to help other clients and I was put aside. After she finished with the customer she helped me again and agree I could have the full service again. I already knew that for the curling lashes will be extra and that was not as problem to me at all. Then already inside the specialist already knew the deal and since she helped me the first time she knew exactly what I was looking for. After she finished and I saw myself I notice that they didn’t look full as the first time. I even let her know and she blamed at the fact I told her I was taking some medication and it was making me to loose my hair. Anyway I left Unhappy but I tried to sheer myself up by doing my nails and already at the other place the nail rep told me that I have pieces of white glue on top. I couldn’t see myself inside the place but I took I pic. And yes I have little pieces of glue. I didn’t go back to that place but I do feel I will terminated the deal for the package I signed out. I wish I can summit a pic of what I am talking about so you can see the type of labor I experienced yesterday. Nothing against the person that did my lashes, she is very sweet. I just think she didn’t get the right instruction but the person who “ honored” the full service. Btw I also paid xtra $45.00. Because the Afro/American told her to charged me that for my upgrade. Again I thought I was $ 35.00. In clonclusion, I would rate this service very poor and dishonest Thanks
