My first time here was a completely different experience than my second. I will say depending on the staff the experience can be really informative, engaging and satisfying. I had a full consultation where I learned the difference type of lashes, prices etc then went back and had a great turn out with my lashes absolutely amazing with Maria. Then this time it was very different. Little communication when I entered there was a simple you can wash my lashes in the back “ guidance followed by being lead to the room with Morgan. My lashes the first time looked very different than this time which was disappointing but I understand every technician is different. We also ran into several issue when checking out due to technical difficulties of some sort. I was charged on a card I didn’t even want to be charged on I didn’t get a breakdown of what I paid for at all and I am still unsure of what I paid for…Just seems like the experience is hit or miss depending on who’s working.

The people at this studio are always so wonderful! And they do a fantastic job. I wish the company would carry lashes that are individually thicker. I like my lashes to look like they have mascara on, not a fan of having a ton of thin lashes on. Reminds me of little squirrel (or some other woodland creature) tails.

New customer came in Monday evening for new set ,,it took awhile girl was nice ,when I got home noticed one eye was a little off ,and thought they would be fuller, called the next day to get a retouch on one eye ,but couldn’t make it at that time,called to reschedule person on the phone gave me a bit of a hard time saying I needed to come in within 24 hours for retouch ,, I called for retouch the very next day ,, I didn’t wait a week to call ,,,so I came in last night different gal did retouch ,,Ava she spent the half hour allotted to me and totally fixed and filled in both eyes..she did a great job !, your place isn’t cheap she made them look like what they should have been in the first appt..

Someone called to try to move myappt time up And I said I would try to be there by 2:30. We started at 2:40 and she released me at 3:20. She is very nice but I really feel like I didn’t get my money’s worth. I’m going to have to put on mascara this weekend when I go out and that defeats the purpose. I LOVEEEE this set Jessica did for me. Last visit I had a volume refill with lengths staggering from 14 on down done by Lizette and she suggested that on my next visit to get the wispy look I wanted, maybe get some longer classics in between and she was so right! Jessica did my fill on the 15th and she did some classics and some volumes, 15 length D-curl, in the 'natural' style but with a little emphasis of volumes on my outer corners and inner middle to open my eyes up, and I am sooo happy with them! I always love the girls and work here, I have never once been unhappy in the year+ I've been coming here, and just want to shout out this amazing last two visits because Lizette's suggestion was spot-on to get what I wanted to achieve and Jessica did it perfectly. Really adore these girls! And thank you all so much for helping me feel comfortable getting my lashes done while my pregnant body becomes more and more uncomfortable! I've been with you guys long before I was pregnant or even thought I would be, and you've been so accommodating to make sure I am always comfortable, feeling okay, not hurting anything. Jessica this last weekend even did one of my eyes with me laying on my side so I would be comfortable - I don't know how she has the strength and precision to do that, but I'm grateful for her! Going to really miss this place when I move back to Florida but I will be in one more time at least to see everyone and get a fill :)

Hi Kristen - Hope this finds you well! I have been a member of Amazing Lash for over 3 years and have been receiving services at the La Costa location- as you are aware - some salons have shut down temporarily due to Covid and when I found out that Del Mar was open - I was beyond excited! I first visited your salon on January 2nd - with master stylist Bri - I had just removed my lashes as my last refill was December 5th and I was under the impression all salons were closed. I had showed Bri pictures of what my stylist had done in La Costa and given that she was a Master stylist - I was hopeful that she would be able to replicate the technique that was used. I was also surprised that to apply a full set, what usually takes to an hour and half, two hours - took under an hour. In additional to quick service - apparently a different glue was applied than I am used to. Again - given that she is a master stylist - I thought she would have looked at my notes carried over from La Costa. Needless to say, my lashes had fallen off quickly and the look I had originally wanted - was not obtained. My second appt. was with Jazmine - I had shared my concerns and she applied a different type of glue - coupled with the incorrect glue and application - by my 3rd appointment, I was about at 20% retention. Jazmine and I were able to problem solve the issues I was encountering and came to the conclusion that the type of glue being used might have to do a lot with it - and application. I shared several photos with Jazmine and she did her best with filling my lashes. I believe with her patience and attention to detail, she was able to almost achieve my hybrid look. (I use a combination of classic D curl and 6D hybrid.) I feel that if I were given more time with Jazmine - perhaps a full set session vs. a refill session (60mins vs. 90min) we would be able to achieve the look I have grown accustom to. My last refill with Jazmin was this last Saturday (23rd) and I am happy to report that the retention is great so far. I have very few fall outs and my lashes are looking full. My next appt. with Jazmine is on Saturday the 6th at 4pm. Please let me know if you are able to accommodate my request. Thank you in advance for your prompt response to this requisition. I've been to ALS (Amazing Lash Studio) before in Irvine. I used to get them weekly. I came back to ALS this year cause it's close to my house in Del Mar. I LOVE this studio. I’m very particular about who I see for my lashes and Jessica exceeds my expectations every time! She is kind, funny, fun to talk to, and her work is beyond amazing. I can have full volumes, but it doesn’t feel like I am even wearing lashes it’s so comfortable. I was in today and the stylist I was assigned to was sick. I had booked a different person online but I was switched. I understand we all get a cold now and then but this girl was non stop sniffing, coughing, clearing phlegm from her throat. I tried to politely ask if she was okay and she just laughed and said yes. I did not relax at all and in was a huge ball of anxiety all during and after the appt. She never apologized or said excuse me. In am very afraid that I will now get her cold. Someone that sick should not be servicing clients.

I did go in as a model 2 weeks ago and it was the very first time that i had lash extensions. I was welcomed by all the ladies in the front. The wait was very slim, Kristin helped me sign in and she was great with making me feel comfortable with my choice in lashes and did great with answering all my questions before and after my appointment. Caira did my lashes and she did a fantastic job with making sure i felt comfortable every step of the way. I went back today to get a fill and Caira was running a bit late with her previous client. I thought it was great that i was notified via text 45 min prior to my set appointment asking if i can come in 20 min later then my original time. Most places wouldn't do that and make you sit and wait it out. Due to getting that text i was able to run a quick errand before i got my lashes done. This is a great place with great staff i would highly recommend anyone to stop in.

She was very nice though, and I appreciated her going a little over on time to finish the job. Overall, I'm glad I gave them another try, as they're under new ownership & management. And I really appreciated that because of my prior bad experiences, they gave me a member pricing with free volume upgrade to try them again. It just wasn't the lash look I was looking for though. Ever since I joined in June 2018, my experience has gotten better every time. My favorite lash artist is Amelia. She’s such a sweet girl and is amazing at what she does. ALS has released a new type of lashes and 4 new glues- and I’m living for them! My eyelashes are so light and fluffy and the new glue has made my lashes last much longer than before. So I showed her a picture, from the ALS binder in the lobby, wispy, cute style, different lengths, 10/11/13- I showed her a picture of what i didn’t want: a block, all the same length extra thick look. what did I get? What she wanted- a block, mono length extra bushy ugly look. Now I’m SOL for my vacation this weekend. I literally asked her what I could d to remove them and almost started crying. Ugh.

My service took more than 3.5 hours. I was not expecting to lay there for 3 hours with my eyes closed and taped down for that long. Perhaps a little heads up on the process and what it entailed would have been helpful. This initial technician who worked on my eyes complained towards the end of the 3 hours of laying down without opening my eyes began sighing and becoming impatient with the results. She then said they weren’t staying so another tech would need to come in and see if she could do anything! I can see my inner eyelashes with mascara, yet she claims that the hair was too thin and fine to hold anything so I paid for the cute lashes but half of my eyes look like they have NO lashes now. I was also told the ones that are on may fall off within a day or two...but I was still charged for the full price, plus sold additional products that I was told would help them from falling off. Not what I was expecting. I also would have chose a more relaxing style of music. The loud upbeat pop was not relaxing when someone is poking at your eyelid for 3.5 hours.

My experience with Sarah is always really great because she totally wants to achieve the best possible look for you. This time we tried a different look & It's fine but maybe not as good as the last one I had, so I'll probably go back to that next time. She's fun to do lashes with and I highly recommend her as she's super good.

She did and AMAZING job! Love my lashes. I’m pregnant so laying down on my back for an hour or two isn’t the greatest for me and baby. Ariel was great about me having to move, be slightly on my side, & sitting up every once in a while! I definitely recommend making an appointment with her.

This was my first time with Sarah - she helped me choose a better length that worked for me, and took time, did not make me feel rushed. She is super sweet and very gentle. She also has such a thoughtful nature, I was really impressed when she offered to come in even on her day off just to do a 30 min touch up, because I'm going on vacation - I am definitely asking for her from now on.

When I arrived this morning I discovered my usual lash technician was sick. She is the best, and I am really sad for her. Get well soon MichelleXX Anyway, the sweet hostess immediately found me another technician Ruby was good at listening to what I needed - she isn't Michelle & she maybe rushed me a bit more than Michelle would, but I understand that it was only a 30 min appt. & she did a great job so I'm happy & definitely recommend her.

This Amazing Lash Studio location is outstanding! I had an appointment at their downtown San Diego location and nobody was there even after an hour past their set opening hours. How embarrassing for them. I called this location to see if they knew about anything going on at the location I was at. They offered to book me with one of their stylists so I didn't have to wait around to see if anyone would even show up downtown! I appreciate their stylist and receptionist for scheduling a same day appointment for me, and my lashes look amazing! A+ for customer service!

I have been going to the Carmel Valley location for over one year now and have not stopped! It is relaxing to receive the one hour treatment and I love not wearing mascara anymore. Definitely recommend if you are thinking about it. You get get them to look natural by not choosing the super long length lashes. Instead they will be super dark and thick. Clean and cute studio as well.

Was referred to Maddie and I am so in love with my lashes! This is my first time getting them done and glad I went here. Maddie did an amazing job at creating exactly what I wanted. I was not aware of the no kids under 15 policy and I had my 8 year with me, but they were very understanding and we were able to go ahead with my appointment. I loved this Amazing Lash when I began last year in January. Everything was great until around September of last year -- I had too many stylists leave & I had to go to a new one! All the new ones were very new and my lashes did not stay. I decided to leave Amazing Lash & try someone else. I tried other people but was not fully satisfied. I really enjoyed the environment of this location. The studio is clean and the staff is very welcoming. My stylist, Cindy, did an amazing job. She gave me the natural and gorgeous look I asked for. She was very gentle and made me feel comfortable. I enjoyed the way she encouraged me to purchase/use their products. However she wasn't very pushy and didn't make me feel obligated to purchase anything. Still walked out with the eyelash cleanser and clear brow/lash gel. Love them both, especially because I can use it on my sensitive eyes.
