I’ve been getting my lashes done here for a couple of months now, and while my lash tech Venessa is amazing, Chyanne at the front desk is pretty amazing as well. She’s super nice and always greats me with a smile. While I have been here for a while, I am still new to the lash world and I have had a bunch of questions and she answered them all without a frown. She even gave me some suggestions and tips! Venessa is the reason that I keep coming, but Chyanne is definitely one of the reasons I stay!

Love the lashes I got, but first time discounts did not seem to apply much. Like fees such as the 3D and master stylist made it more than 89.99. It’s always a good time to just chill and take time out for myself. My stylist, Kiara, is always ready and knows exactly what I want. My only issue today was the loud talking in room 8; I heard every word of their conversation. I remember reading that the policy is to not bring children so that this could be the client’s time to relax. I did my best to ignore it and just “zen” it out. Overall, I really love Kiara and she is so professional and disarmed me.

I was not happy with service. My stylist was awesome and quick. We went over different ways to do lashes and the look I wanted. I explained I wanted look for wedding something to really stand out in pics. I had to pay 30.00 extra for master stylist cause they hve has intensive training and are quicker than reg workers. My lashes were not as long or as full as I asked. Even stylist noticed left eye wasnt as full. I had natural look short nothing out of the ordinary it had no wow effect. I went bck to wrk and staff waiting to see this master stylist with extra fee no one was happy bout the look. I could hve got better look at nail salon. In the bck we nvr discussed prices so I didnt know hybrid lashes was more money. If I come bck I was told it would be $170.00 for mini session. Honestly my experiences before Kara were very sub-par. I contemplated going elsewhere because I was never 100% satisfied with my lashes. Getting them done was better than looking bald so I just settled. Once I met Kara and she did one of my re-fills I knew she was the one! My lashes not only looked full but they lasted way longer than before. Even my coworkers noticed and having that reassurance made me feel so much better. Before coming to Amazing Lash, I've tried a few other places. Each time, I was unhappy with the results never feeling it worth the money. I'm thinking with my Asian eyes, getting the lashes to look natural but noticeable was nearly impossible. Finally, I tried it one last time before a trip and went to Amazing Lash in Montclair. I was skeptical when it was time for me to open my eyes and look in the mirror. When I opened them, I loved my lashes! My stylist's name was Chrystal. She was great! She listened to my wants and delivered. After a month or 2, Chrystal left. I was ready to give up afraid no one else could do what she's done. They set me up with Ariana and let me tell you..Wow!! She is A-MA-ZING!! She's diligent and takes her time to make sure she's got it right. She's also listened to my wants and has even given me her professional opinion and advice which I took in my 2nd refill with her. Boy, was she right! My recent appointment was with Kiara. I’ve been a coming to this location since January 2019 and a member since April 2019 and it’s been great. My “go-to” is Kiara simply because, after having used her exclusively for six months, she now knows my preferences well. I also like Andrea but our schedules don’t match. Kiara is friendly, quick and focused. She knows it’s hard to be still for an hour so she does her best to get you in, get you lashed and get you out. I appreciate that. Note: She also has good sensibilities. My father recently passed away and I didn’t expect so much compassion and warmth from this young woman. My lashes in September were dwindling and she knew it was from the excessive crying. After that appointment, she powered me back on track to AMAZING.

Great space. When first coming over a year and a half ago I loved the service, stylists and overall environment. They seem to be going downhill, as many things have changed. Stylists have come and gone, sometimes the receptionists aren't as nice, or they fail to share pertinent information about your appointment ( i.e. master stylists cost more money, and the price varies on whether or not you are a member.) A lot of "surprise" fees that leaves me wondering if I should continue giving my business here. The remaining stylists are well at what they do but they too have issues with how they are treated / how business is handled at this location. I want to love them, I just wish they could hit a reset button and work as they used to.

Every other place I was getting refills ever two weeks spending over 100 dollars a month to keep up with them. Side note: there’s always one girl at the front desk that is never pleasant while the others are. I try to avoid her when checking in or out but she always seems to be there. Wouldn’t hurt her to smile or actually care about being friendly to clients. The atmosphere of the studio is friendly, happy, clean and fun. Other than that, the other front desk staff have always been courteous and friendly.

I have been a loyal customer of AL since March 2017, booking in advance every two weeks like clockwork, never missing an appointment, always getting 3D upgrades, buying AL products, always giving my stylist a good tip., etc etc. My life time value as a customer is already in the many thousands. So, how does AL reward me for being such a great customer? BY DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I have never gotten a discount, free service, upgrade or even a personal thank you from anyone at the salon. I had several lash technicians at the Montclair location. Some of the techs were more meticulous then others with applying the lashes. The only thing that is bothersome is the membership rates and additional fees. While we all like to look and feel extra pretty the additional (est $20.00) plus $10.00 for a master stylist is a bit pricey. If you calculate how much you truly spend a year in lashes it’s ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous. I have finally found a technician who has been able to apply the lashes and they stay. However if and when she turns into a master stylist I may decide to terminate the membership due to the cost. Staff is very pleasant, the facility is very clean and parking is accessible nearby. Sometimes you may hear the technicians discussing personal conversations in the back room/break room which some language shouldn’t be used however once they come to the front they are all pleasant.

The Lash Master was wonderful and quick. I really appreciated that. My only concern was that during my last “refill”, it didn’t look as artificial. Perhaps I’m not accustomed to the “full” 6D effect. I work in Finance at Morgan Stanley and everyone noticed the “dolled up” look. In a few weeks, as the lashes fall out, maybe it will look more natural. I’m just not comfortable with the big full lashes. Overall, I did appreciate the work and the efficiency. I even overtopped to show my gratitude.

I genuinely loved my lash tech Darielys. She did an INCREDIBLE job, it felt like the time flew by but she really did take her time. She also brought me in on time to start the appointment. My issue is I arrived 30 minutes early to fill out any paperwork I needed to. No one at the front desk asked me if I had any questions. They never directed me to wash my lashes. I didn’t even know thats the standard for this studio. (I did come bare face since this isn’t my first time receiving lashes). This was my first time here and no one talked to me about anything. Whoever was in front seemed more concerned with socializing than with the quality of service and comfort while waiting. My other issue is, when making my appointment, I requested the service of just a new intro set of INDIVIDUAL LASHES. Like I said this is NOT my first time getting lashes. When checking out, the girl at the front desk attempted to charge EXTRA for volume lashes when my appointment was never for VOLUME. All she said was “oh it looks like you did”. I’m not a fan of cluster lashes and never have been so that’s why I didn’t do them and did not request to have them done. I’m glad I caught that or i would have paid about $40 extra for a service I did not receive. I also did not like the pressure for the membership. I shouldn’t have to answer why. I understand they are required to ask but when I say no or no thank you, that should be it. The pricing for a full set was excellent but most places charge for a refill based on the # of lashes needed to be reapplied. I absolutely loved the tech but am apprehensive about returning due to the front desks professionalism. I do want to say the studio is beautifully decorated and CLEAN. That is so important as well.

I am always amazed at how natural my lashes look!! I didn't expect to spend as much as I did...$35 for the lashes and $35 for the upgrade to 3D AND $20 for Amber!! Thank God I had a package!! I wish all had been explained prior to having them installed, but they are Beautiful!!

I really appreciated the look and cleanliness of the studio. As well, the customer service. My only concern is I was in for my first application and, at check out, there was a $25 upcharge. I was not aware why this was the case. They took the charge off but it has left me feeling that there may be a push on every visit to spend more than the contracted price. I am grateful they took the charge off but I still don’t even know why it was there to begin with.

Been going to Amazing Lash for almost a year! Love it! Friendly front desk staff and my provider Anyssa is extremely professional. I like the fact that I am seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time. The facility is clean. However, the payment can get strange. I pay a monthly fee, I am charged for some extras (I don't mind)the same amount every month. Why can't the total charges go into my monthly payment? Also, trying to schedule around your "package" can be challenging. Why not just charge once per month and the customer can use it any day they choose? Just sayin...….
