My lash stylist was so sweet and patient with me. However, I was hoping for a more fuller look when paying for ‘Volume’ lashes. When reviewing the website the volume sets looked thicker and fuller than what I received today. I did show my lash stylist a picture of my previous lash set and asked for a similar look but I feel like I for classic to hybrid instead. I can still see my skin through my lashes and with volume lashes I should not be able too. I’m hoping the next time I go in I get them done the right way.

So in full transparency, I’ve been a member here before. But the services were not hitting my expectation. I take some accountability for that. I was new to extensions but I guess I could not articulate what I wanted. I decided to step back and go to an independent lash stylist who was able to give me what I was looking for. The problem is she’s an hour away. Considering the drive to and from and the time I’d be in the chair, I was losing valuable time every lash fill session. I decided to come back to the Alamo ranch location as it’s a short drive from me. Anyway, my stylist NAILED it this time around. I cannot believe I got exactly what I paid for. I was so worried I’d be overpaying for something I’d be underwhelmed with. But nope, the lashes are perfect! The price as on point and the appointment ran on time. All things that are important to me. This felt like a wonderful “welcome back” to me at this studio.

The facility was clean and comfortable. My lash technician was professional and listened to what I wanted. The results looked great besides 3 white pieces of glue left on my upper lashes. The technician said they would come out easily after I first washed them but that wasn't the case. I had to pluck the individual eyelashes out in order to get the glue off. Besides the glue, I was happy with my overall experience.

She was rude and rolled her eyes several times, as she gave me a robotic/canned shpeal. I didn’t understand where the disconnect was so I asked her what the problem was? This should have been a quick interaction without the dramatics, yet she made it anything but that.

Had to go in today after having 100% fallout within two days of getting a fresh full set with a Master. Another Master helped me. I had a pleasant time with her, however we were interrupted a few times during my service (I was already frustrated that I had to go back within 36hrs of getting a full set, so it just added to that). They didn’t knock or excuse themselves, they just walked in and pulled her out of the office for something. I’ve been with other trainers/leads and never had this happen. Perhaps the others can wait to discuss things about their clients between the trainers/leads clients, as to not interrupt and pull time away from my appointment, which was on an already tight timeline. I called within 48hrs to explain all of the fallout and I set an appointment to have it fixed. I was disappointed when I called back to explain how the lashes were now really falling off everywhere, so giving them a heads up that they would likely need more time with me to make it right and was told I was only scheduled for a mini and my lashes needed to be inspected to figure out what really was going on. I said I could go another day if they don’t feel like they can give me a complete resolution today. I was again told I had to come in today to have them looked at to figure out a way forward. I didn’t want to spend more time at the salon than necessary and the only path forward for me was to have a complete set (given that’s what I paid for just 36hrs earlier). I’m sure they likely didn’t mean to because the ladies answering the lines have for the most part been polite. It came off as accusatory and I certainly didn’t sabotage ALL of my lashes just to go back in and lay there another few hours. In the end, they did take an hour with me to fix the issue and get me back to looking full, so it worked out. I just think alit of little things piled up at once.

This was my 2nd time going to ALS. My lash technician was very nice. I was very satisfied with my lash services. However, she allowed me to leave having black stains on my forehead & cheeks without saying a word. I assume they were from the lash tint service I received. To think that the girl at the counter must've also seen me as I was being checked out & also didn't say a word also disappoints me. I didn't realize that I had these stains on my face until I met up with my friends & they pointed it out.

My lash gal (who shall remain nameless so no one discovers her awesomeness) is so good at what she does. I have VERY minimal fall out and often can go 3-4 weeks in between visits and STILL get compliments on my lashes. I highly recommend, just take care to save up because it is a bit on the high end, especially if you go with a Master stylist.

Kaitlyn, the manager at the Alamo Ranch location is the best! She was so professional, thorough, and friendly when she contacted me. I had a not so great experience at another studio- but knew for Amazing Lash to be so successful I couldn’t base my opinion one studio. Kaitlyn listened to me, heard my concerns and booked me with Megan, a master stylist. Megan is wonderful!! She talked to me at length about caring for my lashes and helped me understand things I was doing that may have been affecting my lash retention. I was also extremely exhausted due to being up all night with a sick kitten. The girls up front were nice enough to call my home location, get my next payment processed early, get my credit card on file changed and get get everything taken care of for me. And she did it with a smile. I understand this may just be her job duties, but her pleasant attitude and willingness to help rather than pass the task off to the customer makes a world of difference! I had to come in after about 48hr after my first session because it was just nagging me that I wasn’t completely satisfied with how my lashes turned out the first time. It was inconvenient to have to come in again to have an evaluation, but then had to come back another hour later to get more lashes applied. This whole process of three visits ate up so much of my time, but I feel that for the money spent on such a service I should make sure it’s right. I believe Alex did my correction & she was wonderful. Quick, concise, & professional. I honestly wish I could have tipped her instead of my first stylist, but I didn’t have a transaction to tip on. I probably had too many lashes to get it all done in one session with Kaylee & too straight of lashes for maybe a newer stylist, but Kaylee could have guided me better & given me realistic expectations based on my lashes & her experience on initial consultation instead of saying next time maybe get volumes or get an eyelash perm before lash application. It just felt like such a disappointment & more upsells. If I hadn’t taken the chance to express my concerns 48hr later my lashes would have been so sparse within one week. Thank you so much for fixing my lashes!

Kaylee was really sweet & knowledgable. My only complaint is that I felt there were many lashes that were missed which is pretty noticeable since I have very straight natural lashes & LOTS of them. I’m sure clients who have so many lashes are very labor intensive, but I was just disappointed. I opted out of volumes because I have so many lashes & don’t need the volume, but I guess I would need the volume to hide these stray lashes. Not ideal.

I was talked into (by my daughter) trying Lashify. We took off my lashes and I did the lashify for 3 days. Removing and applying each day because they didn't stay on. The 4th day was the 26th of December, a soon as I knew y'all were open I called to see if I could get in. Of course I needed a new set and thank God Alex had an opening. She does amazing work and is so pleasant. Every time I walk out of there I'm totally satisfied. I will say this time she had just opened a new tube of glue and my eye burned a bit but by the time I left it was fine..... So I thought. It had been burning ever since I left and still is burning today. It's ok tho, a little pain to have Alex make my lashes look amazing is worth it. Thanks Alex!!!! Happy New Year to all of the staff.

The last few visits the front desk has not been answering the phone when I arrive for my appointment. After multiple calls I go up to the door. It’s locked of course. Well, at first I thought this was great but now I have discovered it’s a bit of a money pit. I have been 4 times, the first time I paid, then set up withdrawal with fill every 2 weeks, was told at no extra cost. Nope first time I went I was told 3D is 20$ extra and 6D is 25$ extra well I did 6D for 2-3 visit. They fell out, so we figured maybe my lashes are too short so I did 3D this 4th time and she said it’s 25$ I said oh she told me it’s 20$ for 3D. She said no all volume are 25$, we have so many new people and they don’t know. Really. Now they sold me a lash growing serum so I can have the 6D and oh by the way I came 3 days before the 14th which is when my 119$ is taken out for the 2 fills so I had to pay that as well.

Mya is consistent and always delivers. The artists are trained thoroughly and the salon is always clean. At first I was confused. I scheduled an appointment with Adrianna, but someone else was calling me back. The lady at the front desk then let my know that my stylist was off for the day but I would be seeing a master stylist without the additional fee. I was a little upset. I think they should definitely notify clients of any changes before they arrive for their scheduled appointment. But... Leslie was absolutely amazing. She was so gentle and friendly! The absolute best lash fill that I’ve ever had. Not once did I feel any pain when she was removing a few outgrown lashes.

First let me say I love the way Annabel does my eyelashes. With that said. I was aware of the price in crease but was told I was grandfathered in at the lower prices. I wanted to change to once a month to make sure I always got to be with Annabel plus my husband lost his job but I knew I could afford the lower cost and not wanting to give up my lashes I requested to change. Here is where my disappointment started first: the receptionist was extremely condescending with my request and informed me that it was corporate policy to start charging me the higher prices even though I had been told that i had been grandfathered in. So my husband and I discussed it after I cancelled my membership that I would continue to go in to Annabel but when my lashes needed filling. But Miley disappointment was in the way your reception is treated me she was extremely rude and would not accept the fact that I had been grandfathered in she needs to be sent back to customer training. And was even rude in asking me if I was going to keep my appointment since it was already credited to me and I did keep that appointment because the last eyelash Tech did such a poor job that Annabelle practically had to put a full set on for my fill. And your manager called me to talk to me and I tried to return her call and she never called me back again poor customer service.

My initial set was FABULOUS! I was very pleased until 5 days later when the lashes on my right eye were 75% gone. I followed instructions but the right side lashes jumped off and left. I called and the fit me in the same day for a mini session. The professionals who applied my lashes both times were Excellent! The mini session looks great. I do think they could have corrected the right eye complimentary since it was within 5 days of my initial full set. Overall good experience. I will be going back and I’ll keep you informed of my progress

I loved the result and the conversation I had with my lash lady, but already a few days after the full set, lots of the single lashes started to come off. Although the 48 hours of not making them wet or using any products in face more and more came off, so that the right eye is almost uncovered. Unfortunately I am really disappointed. Miranda, lash specialist & Laura front desk are awesome! Consistently awesome on every visit. Little disappointed that I got a voicemail DURING my appointment that this was 2nd time I missed an appointment so I would be charged full price! I came in, both girls on phones with people waiting (laura was not at front by she knows me) I flagged them that I was going to wash lashes, they said ok! My stylist picked me up & I was serviced. I came out to pay & heard my voicemail while waiting to pay, & literally standing there & mentioned voicemail that I missed my appt. . Clearly I didn’t miss appt. the lady said they would research it??? I’m standing there & obviously didn’t miss appt. finally all cleared & in case I do miss for unexpected emergency, I wanted “final” notice removed from record. My point here is that there should be some automatic button or self entry computer screen at front desk for ladies to mark themselves when arrived. This will avoid confusion & avoid an ugly call that you did not show & would be charged full price when you’re literally are in the back having your appt. or maybe they should have checked with Lash specialist if I ever showed up before just taking time to call. I know procedures in place but there must be some better automated system for this. I’m a good customer! Thank you to the lady that understood at front desk & to Laura who walked up & said sorry Ms Torres, we will look at this. I don’t recall ever missing my appt in May 2017!!!! But obviously if I’m standing there, I didn’t miss my Appt yesterday. Just opportunity for you’ll to consider working on this problem! Love my lashes every time I leave. The only thing I dislike was that quite often you will need to pay out of pocket on top of your monthly fee due to "scheduling" they say. I cancelled my membership because of it. I don't understand why you pay your $60 monthly fee & still have to pay out of pocket when you do everything right. So in reality you would be really paying more than $60 a month on top of your $20 tip you're supposed to be leaving. Other than that I loved the lashes with the techs I have had.

Cancelled my membership today due to excessive fees and "rules" on when you can come based on your draft. If you schedule too early, you have to pay out of pocket, if you schedule too late they will charge you for a full set. Also cancelled because it is ridiculous to pay extra for "master stylists". ALL stylists should be qualified to apply lashes and the customer shouldn't have to pay more, especially if you have been with the same stylist before they were "masters".

Normally get great service, but in the past few months the quality of the product has seemed to go down. My lashes are thinner and thinner, and the lash specialist seems to be done faster and faster not utilizing the whole time to ensure my lashes are completely full. Not sure if they are in a rush, feeling lazy or if it’s a tactic to make you come in more often and spend more money but it is frustrating. Not fully happy with the look of my lashes this time so I will have to come back in a few days and get them filled in again.

Well I called again after the person who told me no shift and asked if there was an early appointment and what do you know there was at 10am which I took. I just love lash day!!! Mercedes is the best technician I've ever had!! I've been getting my lashes done for well over a year. I didn't start at the Alamo ranch location however I switched because the service I was receiving at the location closer to my old job was not good at all. I've been told they are now better however I didn't go back to see. Mercedes is amazing!!! I've had to go with other technicians when I had to reschedule and when I got my new job because she is mainly available during the week. So the times I had others were fine. They did my lashes good however they just weren't as full as I was used to, there were gaps I was able to see. They weren't huge gaps and looked more natural but that was not the look I requested. I wanted the Glam look and they said they did that. I didn't argue because they looked good just not as great if I had them done by Mercedes. (And that's even counting some times with Masters, js) Mercedes is a master and by far the best one! I have since gone back with her and will stay with her, I don't know what she does different but my lashes always come out Amazing!!!

I was not satisfied with my first full set. My technician was 30 minutes late getting my appointment started. When I requested a break to use the restroom she said I would be losing my time for my appointment. My lashes were uneven. It was apparent that one eye had more lashes than the other. I let the front desk know and they offered to fix them at another appointment. I went a whole week with one eye looking like a dead spider. The other eye looked like she ran out of lashes. Thankfully the next technician was more adept and filled in the gaps and even recommended a lash length that would help avoid the dead spider look in the future. Everyone was polite and professional and the studio is clean. Still determining if the lashes do allow me to continue my normal routine without too much disruption. So far I have had to add a lash wash to my regular face washing regimen. If the lashes fall out too much and I have to return too often for filling and fixing then it may be more time consuming and inconvenient than some good old water proof mascara.

I love my lash girl Ms. Melanie. I’ve been going once a month since September. I don’t want anyone else just because there’s a difference of days that work with both our schedules. I buy and use the nature lash daily. I maintain my lashes very well in between refills. The last 2 times though I’ve gotten very frustrated with the girls up front. I’m sure it’s their job to “sell” the twice a month. I’m not paying to go more than once. I’d rather drop my membership. I don’t like the scheduling rule with the draft date and 4 week mark. I pay my monthly dues why should I be told I have to come in for a mini or pay out of pocket for full set. I get the 3D and will take a picture of all the lashes I still have left when I go in again. I should have today but didn’t think I get the same slack again. Again, I pay monthly, go 3D, buy products, give more than 20% gratuity I’m not going to do the twice a month thing and if I keep getting hassled about a full set out of pocket I’ll drop my membership. Ms. Melanie is 5 stars the other BS is ONE!

First Time Lashes

Sunday I went in to have my lashes done for the first time by a standard technician. Not having known any better, I thought my lashes were ok, just ok, not great and not nearly as full or dark of a lash line as I thought. I noticed by the very next day they were starting to flip down into my eye. I could see they were placed way off the base of my lash line and we’re very sparse. Luckily the ladies called to check how everything went and when I expressed my concerns to them, they offered me to come in and have them checked out. The junior stylist I saw did validate my concerns and noticed they were in danger of likely causing damage to my natural lashes because of the way the false lashes were placed. They were all way off my lash line and all facing different directions some closet to my lash line, some farther away. She recommended a complete removal and to start again with a fresh set. She was kind enough to talk to the ladies at the front desk to let them know what I had experienced and the condition my lashes were in (just 48 hours after initial application) I was able to get a removal done of my 6D lashes complimentary by a junior stylist and get a new set back on by a master stylist. I had to pay an additional 30.00 fee for using a master stylist and an additional 45.00 fee for the 6D lashes. That part I really didn’t agree with because I had already paid just 2 days ago for the same 6D lashes that had to be removed due to the stylist’s poor application technique. I shouldn’t have been held responsible for another fee for the same 6D lashes. That part I felt wasn’t really right. Once my lashes were done properly by the master stylist I finally opened my eyes to see how they’re supposed to look and love them!

I was very uncomfortable during the Appointment. The tape is uncomfortable and I felt like it was touching my eyeball, specially as the tech rested her right hand on the eyebrow. It created pressure on my eye and pushed the tape into inside of eyelid. The glue was stinging my eye, told tech and she turned on the fan and rested it on the side right into my ear. Had to tell her to remove it.

This last time the eyelash girl was super nice, very informative and seemed like she knew what she was doing. I liked her a lot and didn’t think I needed to look at them afterwards in the room. I felt confident.. Then I saw my lashes. They were and have continued to be in every direction but up. Not sure what’s going on. I’ve tried brushing them upright and then they fall out. I feel as though I’ve lost most of what she put in. Thank goodness the ones from before are still there. I know they were hers because I wanted much longer ones this time.. This is the second time it happened. I wish the turnover wasn’t so bad so I could find a girl I like to stick to her without having to pay extra for next level up. I’m already paying for every two weeks plus hefty tips. Last time all my lashes fell out (different girl) I tried to pay for a mini to hold on to some till my next appointment but they wouldn’t let me since it was day 12. I would have had to pay out of pocket. I ended up losing all but 3 on one eye and 5 on the other.. I looked rediculous so end up pulling them out. Im giving the girl a 3 out of 5 because she was great except for her work. The location I give the same. Girls are really nice but not really trying to correct bad jobs in away way without us paying for it.

I had my lashes done initially 3/1/19. The lashes stayed on very well, but upon getting a fill, the lashes fell out the next day! Very disappointed. They did a correction the next day and it was ok but again not as good as the first time. I can definitely see blank spaces :( hoping next fill on the 30th is better.

They are very beautiful but more of a going out to the club type of lash. It was a total waste of time and money. When someone explains to you what they want and that they are new to this, the individual doing the lashes should listen. I feel she did what she wanted and not what I wanted. The website does state that they customize them and can make them look natural. They are going to charge me to remove them...very disappointed!!

I went in for a refill and she told me she would be able to only do what she could within the hour. well I was out of there @7:45pm she asked me if I wanted the 3D again which I did because I had a free upgrade certificate but she didn't even ask me what size I wanted. So with that being said the length looks as if I had nothing done to them. I will most likely not go again with this girl. Why get lashes if they look as if nothing was done. I enjoy coming to Amazing Lash Studio but my last two visits have left me unsatisfied. One recent encounter, my lashes began to shed immediately after leaving the studio. I know they are supposed to shed but I have never had my lashes shed as soon as I left. I literally got into my car and a few lashes fell off and throughout the day they continued to shed. I called to ask if they could possibly do a complimentary refill due to them falling off right away which the receptionist was willing to set up for me. I unfortunately fell ill and was not able to keep my refill appointment. Also, during this appointment I was told that my eyelashes were difficult to add extensions because my natural eyelashes are really curly. I didn't know that was a thing until it was mentioned to me but the technicians should be able to accommodate to any type of lashes that they come in contact with. The stylist who applied my lashes was fairly new so I am not sure if her being so new was the reason my eyelashes shed or what. I still continue to come to Amazing Lash Studio but I plan on seeing master stylist from here on out. Thank you.

My eyelashes are broken and the lashes kept shedding. I bought all the recommended cleaning agents and tools. I followed the guidlunes closely. I went in yesterday to have the lashes removed and the glue did. It all come off as well as the lashes. I am still responsible for another months installment which I think is RIDICULOUS!! As my eyelashes are now shorter than they EVER have been. I have pictures of my lashes before and how they look now and it is SHOCKING! I cannot believe that I still have to pay for this horrific experience! I am a cosmetologist and have been for 25 years with a successful and large clientele... I will do everything I can to educate people about the potential outcomes with this underwhelming service as well as the ridiculous business practices with this particular establishment.

The customer service is always great making you feel welcomed every time. I only have one complaint. The tech I had from my previous appointment, didn't wear a mask during the whole session. It was uncomfortable having her breathe on my face and chew gum as well. She was very nice but that is one thing they can be more strict on.

I have been going to amazing lash for about a year. They usually are spot on. I had one bad install and no one wanted to take responsibility. That one time was a turnoff. I understand they may have new stylist etc but the fact no one wanted to except responsibility was the turn off. I didn’t like the answer I got. The install caused my real lashes to be pulled out. This was verified by one of their own technicians. That response may cause me to never go back. Undecided at this time.

I was very unhapoy with my services today. I had my appointment rescheduled due to my regular stylist not available on my appointment date. Mercedes did a great job!! The estimated time for first time appointment is over and hour, but I know I was not there that long, if I’m not mistaken, it was less than an hour!! My lashes look great!! I thought the place itself was nice and that the girls working the front desk were quick to process me in. Alex who was my stylist I believe did a good job. She did have some trouble with some of my lashes, saying that my eyes were watering to much. Even with that I think they look good. I would like for them to look more full next time. She was very sweet and professional. At checkout the only thing I really didn’t like is the process of being told about membership is sprung on you and all the information when you are already ready to pay. I think someone should sit down and discuss this with you before your lashes are done. Anytime money is gonna be automatically taken out of my account I would like to feel confident about it and having to make decisions like that so quickly is maddening. All in all I thought it was a good experience. And I will try it again when I get my fill.

I've been going to this location for a few months, and yesterday I was disappointed. I never had issues with my eyes being sensitive but yesterday, my eyes were both extremely irritated and teary throughout the whole appointment. I let my tech know I could feel the glue burning my eyes and still continued with the session. After it was over I had difficulty opening my eyes, the manager was made aware of the situation and told me it could've been the adhesive was too strong and that I could schedule again with the same tech to see if that was the issue. I never had that issue before and dont want to go through it again. I woke up today with my left eye still irritated and red. Now that I have time to look at my lashes, the left side is longer and fuller and my right side is noticeably shorter. Completely disappointed with the service provided.

I have had great service and excellent stylist Gisele was great but her rates got higher and I had to change. Currently I have Antilisa and she is fantastic my lashes stay on well plus I do take care of them they are a luxury for me. When I first started with her she listened to what I had to say I wanted to make a change. The front ladies are awesome but I would like to see an older female(s) just to show your clientele that this service is for everyone. Miranda is a very sweet girl & I did too her but...i got home & looked at my lashes today & yesterday and they don't look good. Not happy at all. My usual master, Gisella my master person had left your employ. I was talked into booking miranda as I had to do something as my lashes were much due for my fill. No masters were available to me. I got promised miranda was very good. But my lashes have gaps in them and there's some very noticeable chunks. I am not satisfied at all. I do not mind paying the extra 20 $$ for a master to fix them but there was none available to see in the 1st place. I want my eyelashes fixed by a master and I don't want to pay for what was done yesterday except I will pay an extra whatever it is for the master. But they need to be fixed. And soon. I'm not happy at all I'm a very good customer. I have been coming here for a while and I always leave very satisfied with my lashes. Today was the icing on the cake that made me want to leave a review. This morning being a new mom all over again I ran into a couple of barriers getting to my appointment and I called the front desk and asked what I could do because I knew I was going to be late and driving over there to get turned away wasn't something I wanted to do. The girl was very empathetic and canceled my appointment and rescheduled me making sure to look for an opening. She also called me back about3 hours later stating that there was an earlier appointment and if I wanted it, Ofcourse I said yes. The girls were so nice and I know she could've of just charged me for a cancellation but she didn't she got me in the same day and I just want to say thank you so much. I've been getting lash extensions from this location since September. I was a skeptic at first on whether I really needed them, but I'm really glad I did! I love the ease of waking up in the morning, and not feeling like I need eyeliner or mascara. Katti has been my preferred stylist since the beginning, and she never disappoints. The front desk receptionists are usually really sweet as well.

The Studio Director, Lindsey Lopez, and the front desk staff at Alamo Ranch made the necessary adjustments to remedy the negative experience I had on the phone. They made me feel valued as a customer and used my unfortunate experience as a teachable moment for their staff. More importantly, they apologied and made it right.
